In January 2022, we were very excited to unveil ‘The Enchanted Wood’ – our brand new sensory space. The children helped to both name and design the theme of the room, and it is fantastic to see it being used daily by children from every class. As well as being a quiet space for children to regulate in, there are a number of resources to both stimulate and calm the senses. Children may use the space if they are accessing emotional support from our ELSA, or to supplement a sensory diet if they have identified sensory needs.
